Two types of publication are accepted:
Conditions for publication Papers submitted for publication in the Journal must be original and must present new results. The articles submitted are reviewed by two referees specialized in the subject covered by the paper. Depending on the specificity of the topic, these referees are selected from the members of the scientific review board of the journal Fruits or from the international scientific community. Only these reviewers may assess the scientific value of the paper.
Manuscripts Articles should not exceed 15 typed pages, including references and illustrations. Titles should be short and informative. Authors' last names, first names and work addresses should be clearly indicated. The abstract should be structured: it systematically summarizes the main parts of the text which must be clearly titled (Introduction, Materials and methods, etc.). It should be written in the same language as the original paper and should not exceed 250 words. It must include 3 to 4 keywords. Latin names should be italicized or underlined. Unusual acronyms should be written out in full the first time they are mentioned in the text. The captions and units used for preparing the tables, figures, and illustrations should be fully explained. Only the metric system with its standard abbreviations should be used. All photographs are published in black and white. For colour plates, authors will be required to pay any additional costs. Good quality prints (preferably on paper) are required. All tables and figures should be supplied on a separate sheet. They should not be incorporated in the text. All manuscripts must be submitted on a triplicate, double-spaced printing (text only + references + tables and figures on a separate sheet, see above), and on a PC compatible CD-Rom with a hardcopy version (see below), mailed to the following address:
